Food 2 Go

Food 2 Go is a food delivery app that aims to connect restaurants with their customers. Our target audience is people with dietary restrictions, but particularly vegans. In addition, we want people that are new to healthy lifestyle diets to be able to learn about them and decide which ones work best, as well as expose them to restaurants that cater to these diets. Food 2 Go promotes a healthy lifestyle as a whole, and thus is an advocate for sustainability and keeping the planet green. I worked in a group with 4 other visual design interns remotely to create their logo, branding and visual guide.

Process

  1. Brainstorm logo

  2. Journey map

  3. User study

  4. Sketch prototype

  5. Wireframe flow chart

  6. Figma prototype

  7. Visual Guide

  8. Mockups

After getting the brief, we start sketching out some logo ideas and vote on the ones that we like. We use Miro as a collaborative tool since we are all working remotely. We each sketch out our ideas with pen and paper or digitally, then upload on Miro for voting.

Journey map

We create a journey map to visualize the users’ experience and how they interact with the app. So we can better understand the user, and study design opportunities.

Sketch prototype

We start our prototype session with a round of “crazy 8”, which is an exercise for prototyping where we quickly sketch out 8 ideas, spending 30 seconds for each idea. After the exercise, we exchange our ideas and talk about what we like/dislike to include in the app.
